Speaker: Richardson Police Assistant Chief Gary L. Tittle telling us about the new Crisis Intervention Team that started back in October. This team’s purpose is to intervene before a mental health crisis occurs, as well as to help officers responding to a mental health call. This has become a top priority in law enforcement. Nearly 1 in 5 adults in the US live with a mental illness.
We will also have Patti Clapp & Susan Cumby from the Dallas County Ballot Board share information.
