Established in 1958

Richardson Republican Women

Richardson Republican Women have been a part of the Richardson, Texas community since 1958. Richardson has conservative leaders who listen to their neighbors and make decisions based on the will of the community.

We live in one of the greatest nations because of the freedoms our founding fathers so skillfully provided for us in the United States Constitution and we work to support those rights and freedoms for generations to come.

We are a group of women and men who work to keep our country safe and prosperous for our children and grandchildren. To help our community grow we support leaders that will speak the truth and act with integrity. Our mission is to educate voters, and to promote, support, and elect conservative Republicans. We hope that you will consider joining us to help accomplish our mission.

Meet our leaders

Shirley Raven

President

Eight years ago, I was looking for a group of like-minded people with whom I could share my conservative ideas. I searched the internet for "Republican Women in Richardson" and found Richardson Republican Women. I went to Diane Dees' home to get a Pete Sessions yard sign, and before I left with my signs, I had become a member...the rest is history!

I have served as Recording Secretary, President, Vice President, Campaigns, and President again now. I can say this is a powerful group of women who work diligently to help our community and support all Republican candidates.

I have lived in Richardson for 53 years and raised my children in RISD schools. I now have twin grandsons who are stanch Republicans and very interested in politics.

I am a Registered nurse, who worked at Parkland, Baylor, then Blue Cross Blue Shield before retiring. As a nurse in administration, I had to lead and encourage my staff to become their best. I now hope to encourage this wonderful group of women to do the same.

Testimonials

Words from our members
Shirley Raven

Shirley Raven

"Every active Republican woman has a story of how she became involved.

My story began by simply wanting to support a candidate. That caused me to reach out and become
part of Richardson Republican Women. As I listened and learned about the State of Texas and US
legislative process and researched our representatives and senators; I realized, there was
something I could do. There is something we all can do; we are strong Republican
women…...PROUD TEXAS PATRIOTS.
The friendships I have gained are so special to me. Join us-become involved!"

Lynn Solomon

Lynn Solomon

"I attended a RRW Luncheon after seeing a FB post about the club. The members at the luncheon were friendly
and I enjoyed the speaker who presented knowledgeable information. I joined and have learned a lot about how
our government works and feel that I have made a difference for my community."
