President’s Message from 2021
Hello all! As the incoming president of Richardson Republican Women, I would like to welcome you to 2021!
I know we have had a difficult year, between Covid-19 and the election results, but we are strong, determined, Republican women and we will not quit working for our community, our city, Texas, or our country.
Looking back on 2020, despite the pandemic, we managed to make telephone calls, register voters, block walk, work early voting as well as election day, and write 4,480 postcards for our state representatives, Angie Chen Button, Jeff Leach, and Linda Koop.
Our Trivia Night Fundraiser was a huge success, and our speaker, Keenan Williams, who shared his journey of faith and why he became a Republican, inspired us all. Thank you to all who participated. Due in great part to its success, we were able to donate $300.00 each to Angie Chen Button, Jeff Leach, Linda Koop, Chad Prda, Justice Bill Whitehill, Justice John Browning, and Justice David Evans. I hope you will be an active member of RRW this year. There is a lot to be done in preparation for the 2022 elections. There are several committees that do not require a huge time commitment, please consider volunteering for one. We will continue to meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month with inspiring and informative speakers and events.
Hope to see you all soon.
Legislative Day in Austin was February 4. This was an opportunity to speak with our Legislators about what we want them to address during the Legislative Session. We normally go into the Capitol and up in the Gallery of the House of Representatives and the Senate, but due to Covid, that was not possible this year. Instead, we participated in the events and workshops at the AT&T; Executive Education and Conference Center.

We will be having a presentation on Human Trafficking.
Location: Dallas GOP Headquarters, 11617 N. Central Expwy. Suite 240, Dallas 75243.
This is an issue that we all need to know more about and encourage our legislators to do something about!
